I really enjoyed this book and around the middle of the book, couldn't stand to put it down. All the Whitney women were considered a bit unusual (maybe even witchlike), but there was more to their ways and reasons from the past that formed who they now were. I couldn't imagine how it would end and thought the author did an excellent job of beautiful descriptive writing that was woven together at the end.
